Quartz crystal units
The TAS 1210 is the smallest crystal in the world, measuring only 1.2mm x 1.0mm x 0.35mm. It has a frequency range of 34MHz to 60MHz.
This ultra miniature SMD crystal unit, due to its low profile and frequency range, is most suitable in small, next-generation mobile devices for modules for M2M, any NFC applications, wireless medical use, mobile phone and tablet PCs.
Temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO)
TTS30VS/NS is the smallest VCTCXO/TCXO in the world, measuring only 2.0mm x 1.6mm x 0.6mm. It is suitable for GPS applications and shows excellent phase noise performance.
This oscillator can be supplied with an enable/disable function for the reduction of the electricity and a maximum supply voltage of 1.68V. In addition, temperature sensor output is available.
TCXOs for MP base station and Femtocell applications
A TCXO with stability of +/-0.05 ppm ( 0°C to +50°C) has recently been developed. It can replace expensive OCXOs.
For GPS/WLAN applications, Coftech provides TCXOs with a package size of 2.5mm x 2.0mm and 2.0mm x 1.6mm with a stability maximum of ±0.5ppm, also available with enable / disable function.
Low EMI clock oscillators
The principle sources of the EMI problem come from the system clocks. Therefore, rather than using ferrite beads, EMI filters and metal shielding, the most efficient and economic way to reduce the peak radiation energy is to use the spread spectrum low EMI clock oscillator.
Package sizes are 7.0mmx5.0mmx1.8mm and 5.0mm x 3.2mm x 1.2mm at a frequency range of 3.5MHz to 220.0MHz.
The low EMI clock oscillators are used in medical telemetry, handheld ID readers, automotive equipment and embedded systems, to name just a few applications.
