Glas-Col - Heating Jackets and Temperature Controls - Superior Solutions for Semiconductor Heating

Whether you need quick turnaround, low prices, high-temperatures, close fit, efficient heating or all of the above, Glas-Col heating jackets are your solution. Glas-Col heating jackets provide surface heating for pipes, valves, tanks, regulators and many other items.

HEATING JACKETS REDUCE THE CHANCE OF CLOGGED VACUUM LINES IN SEMICONDUCTOR HEATING

Glas-Col heating jackets, designed to achieve temperatures up to 250°C, help reduce buildup in forelines, exhaust lines, and pump lines. In turn, this reduces the risk of damaged products and equipment. In addition, they:

  • Provide clean even heat
  • Eliminate hot or cold spots
  • Are easy to install and remove (even in limited spaces)
  • Require low maintenance and labor cost
  • Are energy efficient
  • Are cleanroom compatible
  • Are made with durable material
  • Offer variable watt densities
  • Provide multiple heating zones
  • Remain chemical and moisture resistant
  • Are easily adaptable to even the most complex applications

Glas-Col also has options available for heating to 400°C and 600°C. Closure options include hooks and laces and straps. Velcro® is available for lower temperature applications.

Glas-Col is committed to customer satisfaction. We will work quickly to provide a written quote based on a simple hand sketch or a formal computer drawing. In some areas, representatives are available to measure your system, thus providing you with even less work on your path to efficient heating.

TEMPERATURE CONTROLS FOR HEATING JACKETS

Our custom heating jackets can be designed to work with our digital control packages. Each control package is designed to provide the utmost control, efficiency, and consistent heating possible to help reduce vacuum line buildup and costs associated with maintenance and downtime.

We offer:

  • Custom packages to fit your application
  • 120/240V single phase; 240/480V 3-phase
  • Easy installation and various mounting options
  • High-temperature limit controls
  • Digital temperature controls
  • Current monitoring controls, alerting the customer when the current exceeds preset high and low limits
  • Secondary alarm outputs, activating visual or audible alarms, or sending a signal to an external device

Our customers have told us our heating jackets have reduced PMs from once every three months to over a year; after one year there was still no buildup in the line.

The same emphasis on quality and innovation that led Glas-Col's founder, Dr. Glen Morey, to invent the very first heating mantle can meet your semiconductor heating mantle needs. Since starting the heating mantle industry in 1939, Glas-Col has gone on to develop an extensive line of heating mantles. Glas-Col is known worldwide for the ability to design custom jackets for unusual applications.
