Cosense Reveals SL630 Non-Invasive Ultrasonic Liquid Level Detectors

05 March 2009

Cosense, a designer and manufacturer of ultrasonic air-in-line detectors and liquid level sensors, has developed a compact, non-invasive, self-adhering point liquid level sensor for use with various fluid reservoirs and containers.

The SL630 series sensor is positioned on a container using its adhesive interface or a mechanical fixture. Circuitry is located integrally with the sensor housing, which measures 12.7mm by 22.9mm. Sensors operate with 5VDC–24VDC input and TTL or open collector output options, indicating air or liquid is present.

Designed for use with semiconductor, medical and biotech instrumentation, SL630 sensors are not affected by optical or dielectric properties of fluids or containers. Standard and custom designs are available for OEM applications.
