Michael Mayberry, Vice President of Technology and Manufacturing, Intel Corporation

Michael Mayberry

The vice president of technology and manufacturing at Intel Corporation, Michael Mayberry is responsible for conducting research to identify and enable future process options to be used in Intel's technology development and manufacturing – including advanced transistors, interconnects, packaging and lithography.

He joined Intel in 1984 as a process integration engineer as part of the California technology development team and developed EPROM, flash and logic wafer fabrication processes.

By 1994 he took on the role of director of sort test technology development and was responsible for the development of test processes for Intel microprocessors and other products, moving in 2005 to components research. He was awarded his PhD in 1983 in physical chemistry by the University of California, Berkeley.
