Silicon on Insulator (SOI)
Silicon on insulator (SOI) is a semiconductor wafer technology. SOI is a fabrication technique that uses pure crystal silicon and silicon oxide for integrated circuits and microchips. Silicon on insulator allow for process performance and lower power leakage to be improved.
